Responsibilities

TribePlay is looking for resourceful and motivated server game programmer to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for designing and developing the backend systems of our games. You will be helping to scale a very dynamic and fast growing company.

Together with our distribution partners we published one of the most popular and first real time Social Networking Game in Hyves, the biggest social network in the Netherlands. We are ambitiously aiming at the global market.

Tasks and responsibilities overview

1. Tracking and developing high quality server applications

2. Development of server features of our games

3. Server scaling and clustering

4. Identify and ensure key backend requirements and solutions such as performance, scalability, reliability and security

5. Communicate and provide status reports to the team

Your Profile

1. Deep experience with Java and MySQL

2. Strong experience of working on Linux

3. 2 to 5 years working experiences

4. Experience with open-source framework such as Hibernate/Spring

5. Experience with high traffic server application

6. Ability to accurately estimate work and track record of delivering to commitments

7. Interest in digital media/online games

8. Independent & problem-solving abilities

9. Internationally orientated

10. Someone who is a team-player, open-minded and eager to share knowledge and learn from other colleagues
