It has a long and deep history of censorship and ‘bought’ rankings/ranking manipulation. I’d say they’re #1 in censorship and possibly manipulating it’s users to think it’s the best site in the world 😀

Baidu is terrible because the search results are paid and not very accurate at all. It lookss like Google but is obviously inferior. However, if you’re looking for Chinese websites specifically, Baidu is often better. Baidu Maps works pretty well, too.
