Importing a dog

Hi,

This is my first post to the forum, so firstly, hi to all. We are moving to Chengdu at the end of July and I was wondering if anyone could give some advice on bringing a dog. Firstly, the dog is coming, so it is not an issue of leaving her behind.

We were going to send her separately but that is so damn expensive – so we are thinking of bringing her as excess baggage. What I want to know are there any agents who can help with the paperwork and customs thing and secondly, are there any kennels in Chengdu as we may not have a place when we first arrive.

We are looking forward to the move and starting our next chapter in China.
