    Hi,

I am wondering if i should purchase a water distiller to bring with me? Since the water there, tap water, isnt very safe to drink. Wondering if this will benefit? And from what i understand, the bottle water isnt all that safe either… How do people drink safe water there? heh

If the bottled water is bad here, we are all very screwed. I have “Ice Age” water at home and haven’t noticed any adverse effects from drinking it. Looks clean, seems clean. I haven’t used a water distiller before.

This is a concern for me too, though I’m living in a new apartment complex that has a filtration system at the main. As a precautionary measure I use a (Laica) water filter, which I purchased from Carrefour here in Chengdu.
