Ruby Animal Rescue Foundation is proud to announce our first ever Veterinary Lecture in Chengdu.

A trip to the veterinarian is often a stressful experience for you and your pet. In China the language barrier and lack of international standards of veterinary care often compounds and increases the difficulty to provide adequate care for your furry family member.

On May 16 at The Beer Nest, Dr. Schuster will speak regarding veterinary care and pet relocation in China. Although it is free, there is limited seating available. More information can be found on the attached poster.

    Speaker Biography:
Dr. Schuster has lived in China with his wife and 4 children for 10 years. He graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Guelph, Canada in 193. After 6 years in a busy mixed animal practice treating domestic and farm species, Dr.Schuster moved to China where he worked and studied Chinese. In 2005 he moved to Chengdu and spent 2 years doing clinical medicine at the ChengDu zoo. He established Caribou Veterinary Consulting in 2007 and spent 3 years consulting on a Canadian- Chinese government development project that focused on Chinese veterinary training. Dr. Schuster offers pet services along with the qualified staff of the Yang Guang Jin Sha Animal Hospital.
