Hi guys, I’m a 21 year old girl from the UK. Hopefully will be moving to Chengdu in the next month to teach english to younger children. Any advice you can give me would be great – thanks x

You can read our Guide to Chengdu but aside from that, here are some general tips:

– Register at the PSB (local police station) when you arrive

– Learn Chinese

– Have an open mind
