Oh yeah, I saw that also. Basically the Weibo said there was a “predatory female” (I learned a new word: 威猛) who raped a drunk guy who resisted at first. Someone took photos and posted them on Weibo and it’s been retweeted 10k+ times.

Apparently a lot of the retweets are people hoping that they get “raped” after clubbing in Jiuyanqiao. The last pic seems to show the girl running away in a trench coat.

I do love the double standard though. Had this been a guy raping a girl we would be grabbing our pitchforks, instead we see it as a joke.

Basically, in China, the crime of “rape” can only be committed when a man does this to a woman. A woman cant be accused of “rape” when she does this to a man. 🙂
