    Apparently Cress has already organized a group of 10-15 people for this (post that info here, Cress!).

    According to what she told me, we’re leaving tomorrow at 10am.

    Hey, sorry, the internet wasnt working at my house and I’ve been busy with work the whole day. Hope it’s not too late now.

    So yes, we are meeting tomorrow (Oct 4th), at Bai Hua Central Bus Station ( 百花中心站）at 10am.

    It’s gonna be at least 9 people so far. And it’s RMB60/person no time limit.

    So we ended up going to Floraland (????) where the paintball/airsoft place was located. Apparently the deal was that you have to book in advance for paintball but you can just show up and play airsoft, so that’s what we did (for anyone who doesn’t know, Airsoft on Wikipedia).

    I think 12 of us showed up, paid 60 yuan and got dressed in camouflage before shooting each other with plastic BB’s. At first it was all of us versus a group of Chinese people that were there before us and we won 8-3. Then we shot each other for a few hours before walking around the Floraland amusement park, and then caught a bus back to Chengdu and got an awesome meal of Sichuan food.

    Wow, looks like a lot of fun! I’d be interested in joining next time or scheduling paintball for one weekend if you guys are interested in going back.

    The photographer that was with us got some really good photos that make airsoft look much grittier than it actually is.

    One of Cress’ friends who didn’t even play. He just followed everyone around with a big Nikon SLR taking photos the whole time. Pretty awesome to have that guy around!
