    Not to be confused with the Panda Festival…

    There is another music festival happening at the same site as Zebra during the October holiday.

    new pants is a pretty good band. Saw them in Ningbo, pretty famous in BEijing too.

    They played at Zebra Music Festival. This is seriously exactly like Zebra, the same lineup, the same location etc.

    @ Charlie: agreed. You gotta give new acts a chance. The past month i’ve seen some really good local stuff at Little Bar (usually in the 15 minutes support slot)and Kungxiangzi also had some impressive local bands. No offence to these guys, but just having Soundtoy, mr. Turtle, P. Butterfly every year….already getting kinda stale.

    Can’t say I’m surprised, this event seemed sketchy from the beginning. Oh well, the cancellation of this will bring more people to the Panda Festival this weekend.
