Places to get away – short term – not so much hassle

What are some places to get away for the short term — say a 3 day weekend — that are not very much hassle, not over the top in cost, not too hard to get to, relaxing, enjoyable?

Ideally, something 1 direct flight or train ride away, either a resort (mountain, beach, lake, whatever) or comfortable accomodations near an interesting historical or cultural site. Something in China or in one of the countries in the area.

I loved being in Taogong. Up in Sichuanese Tibet’s Mountain.

There is an airport in Kanding, not sure if it is already opened (they only open in “spring-summer” time.

Fresh nice air and i loved the trip. We spent more than 3 days, but we went by bus, which took us 10 hours.
