Any Experience Flying with Hainan Airlines?

That time of the year…. Has anyone flew with Hainan Airlines? any comments? I am looking for tickets to go home and somehow a connection involving this airline appears in the choices.

One more, has anyone used AA lately and/or from China? I have to recognize that I am trying to avoid them given that their service lately (for a while already!) in domestic US is really bad. But again, checking for alternatives they do have good flights itineraries and cheaper ones… but wondering if saving some bucks would allow me to cope with a long haul flight…

I’ve only had good experiences with them; nothing bad or anything. The couple times I’ve flown in and out of China, I’ve always used them because they seemed to be the cheapest.
