    Hi Riders!

Considering about the origin distance to Chongzhou is too long for some unprofessional riders. We changed the route and shorten the distance to 60km double way! We are going to have a picnic with music at noon!

There’s a cycling event on 23/3, from Sichuan Gymnasium to Yongan Town and Tongzhi Pottery hold by a cycling club in Chengdu and Soyater bicycles.

Time: 8.30am 23/3/2014  (will be back around 4 or 5pm)

    Place: Gate of Sichuan Gymnasium

Route: Sichuan Gymnasium- Jiannan Avenue- Zhengxing Town- Yongan Town- Jiancha Town- Tongzhi Pottery

    Distance: 60km double way

Preparation: It’s better to take your own bike for the cycling. And please wear your helmet, glove or sunglasses.

Expense: You don’t have to pay for anything for this event. We will have a Picnic at noon, some bread and water will be provided. It’s better if you take some food by yourself.

**You have to be responsible for your own safety. We will take a first-aid kit with us, but we won’t account for any individual injuries during the cycling.

For those who just came to Chengdu and don’t have their own bicycles, 3-4 bikes will be provided for them with passport deposit. Riders can try the Soyater’s newest carbon-fiber bicycles!

If you wanna join this event, please send an email with your name, nationality, mobile number and have bicycles or not to [email protected]. Any good advice or questions of this event are welcomed!

*Now is the best season for the cole flowers. We will pass some cole flowers fields on the way. The pottery at red earth village is called Tongzhi Dragon Pottery, which can date back to Tongzhi, Qing dynasty. Most of the pots for pickled vegetables in Chengdu were produced there. Now this place is full of ceramic artists and known by people. You can also make your own pottery there!
