Teach A-Level Economics at Jiaxiang Foreign Languages School Attached to Chengdu No.7 Middle School
The School Jiaxiang Foreign Languages School Attached to Chengdu No.7 Middle School is one of the leading private boarding schools in China, founded in 2000. Jiaxiang has in place a professional, integrated organisational structure providing effective leadership and management. The management team is a blend of Chinese and Western staff all of whom have experience in education, both in China and the West, who have links to prestigious institutions such as Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard and Yale.
Jiaxiang gained official approval to provide Edexcel A-levels earlier this year and currently we are running A-level Maths and Physics courses. We are aiming to expand quickly to become the number 1 provider of A-levels in China. Our current class of 23 students is comprised of a select group of top students, each striving for academic excellence and the opportunity to thrive in an international environment.
The Positions
Jiaxiang is seeking a high calibre candidate to join our team teaching A-level Economics.
Candidate Requirements
– University Degree in related discipline.
– PGCE or equivalent
– A minimum of two years A-level teaching experience is required
– TEFL Certificate or experience teaching non-native English speakers is an advantage
– Experience of living abroad, particularly in the Far East, is an advantage
– Experience or involvement in extra-curricular activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award is desirable

Contract: 2 years starting in Feb 2013. This will be mutually renewable.
