i wouldve liked if the DJ changed up the genre instead of playing dubstep the whole freaking night!

There were 4 DJs, only 1 of them played dubstep.

Did anybody check out Marco’s art? I especially liked Made in Italy

Thought Pet Conspiracy were excellent. The place was totally bouncing. Good send off.

Pet Conspiracy put on an AMAZING show! The sound was good, their energy was great, and their stage setup was pretty nice given the limited space. They totally exceeded my expectations.

Good way to end the xiongmao era, but I’m sad to see it go.

They were really good, one of the best band performances in Chengdu of the last few years. Kind of a happier Nine Inch Nails-ish sound. With two girls in the place of Trent Reznor. It was a good final show, that’s for sure.

    Two photos:

Andy Mac asked me to take this photo, there were 10+ people frequently in the DJ booth just hanging out, hahah.

@Ray Would you consider the new stuff an upgrade or a downgrade?

Big news iameric: a 7-eleven has opened literally downstairs from me on yulin xilu! Not ashamed to say that this has made my day: 7-eleven=Asahi beer (cold) + smiling service (even at 4 AM, how do they do it?), plus lotsa weird, occasionally gross Japanese snacks. Also very excited to find a Specialised bike store in Chengdu. That is until I saw the prices: one bike was RMB 116,000, another RMB 76,000. I kid you not. If I’m lying, I’m flying…..
