Transferring Money from China to Europe

I heard that it’s not easy. Is it true that you have to present how much taxes you pay, your contract and stuff like that?

Hi Julio,

It depends on how you send it – if you send it from your own Chinese bank account, you’ll run into all kinds of difficulties. If you send it from a Chinese persons bank account (via wire transfer), it’ll be much easier. If you have a Chinese friend or girlfriend they can probably help you with this. If you search on the forum, there are some threads with detailed information on this as well, in addition to other methods for moving money overseas. You can send it to yourself via Paypal, for example, or just withdraw money from your Chinese bank account at an ATM in Europe which supports UnionPay (the Chinese banking network).

I just transferred some RMB to USD via bitcoin and made money on the transaction. Should be complete in about a week.
