The Miss World China 2011 contest is being held right now in the southern Chinese city of Wuxi. The finals take place over the course of a month and are due to finish on the 15th of September.

I hear you Brendan. The cultural values for beauty inside China can be very different from other places in the world. I often see attractive women wearing what looks like clown makeup when their face is like 3 shades lighter than their actual skin tone due to whitening products.
