Where is the best 兰州拉面 place in the city?

LZLM (兰州拉面 ) is one of my favorite things to eat for lunch, and one of the most ubiquitous food options in the city.

What is your LZLM location of choice? I frequent one spot on 玉林街， and one on 芳草街。

Where do you go for your LZLM?

My favorite one is between the Hemp House and Chunxi Lu on a side street. Cheap and good portion sizes (especially meat) and also tastes great. But I think that a lot of them are very similar.

There’s one I used to go to on Yulin Nan Lu which closed down. There don’t seem to be a lot of them in the neighborhood.

For a true LZLM fan though I would check out this listing on 点评. A few dozen places with that exact name.

I think the one that was on Yulin Nanlu is the one that is now in the alley off of Fangcao Jie near my house.

It’s funny, that is my spot now, but I feel bad for my other spot, because they don’t know I have found a new spot closer to my house. And I still sometimes go to the Jia Chang Mian place next to my old LZLM place, and I can feel the proprietor looking at me when I pull up and then go into the noodle shop next to his, like, what happened to us? Was it my portions? Was it my broth? No, its not you, my friend, its me.
