Would like to reactivate this thread:

One month ago a new General Manager started. Therefore we will undergo some changes in promotions. This means that for example AYCE Dim-Sum will get cancelled starting December. As I really like them I decided to have kind of a “farewell” Dim-Sum lunch on coming Saturday 😀 If anyone wants to join please let me know! Price is 100RMB net p/p and as said AUCE including tea. The more people the more fun and the more we can try 😉

Luckily we have a juicer doing the work for us 🙂 Otherwise I wouldn’t know where to find the bunch of people as we are already pretty low with stff in general… Somehow the Chinese don’t want to work in F&B 😉

I will forward your comments to our Thai guest chefs. I’m sure they will also appreciate it!

Not to disappoint anybody: I can offer 50% discount for 2 only (linked with our Club Entree program, see first post). For 3 it would still be 33% off on the buffet. I agree on the price. Without the discount card it is a bit on the expensive side even though we actually have the lowest price among most 5* international hotels in Chengdu…

Btw: See you next time on our Chinese boats 😉

Hey Ian,

lunch is from 11.30 to 14.30.

The curry crab will be on the lunch buffet on: 21.6, 24.6, 27.6.
The tamarind crab will be on the dinner buffet on: 20.6, 23.6, 26.6, 29.6
The deep-fried crab meat with minced pork will be on the dinner buffet on: 21.6, 24.6, 27.6

This is at least the plan but I don’t want to guarantee it for 100% as there might be some last minute changes.

If you like to come I can also offer you to use my Club Entree Card which will give you a great discount on the buffet depending how many people you are. This offer is of course for all!

just checked with our chefs what we will have. Of course there will be more than just the Thai standard dishes 😉

Here a more detailed overview:
Appetizer:
– Deep-fried crispy rice cracker with shrimp, chicken and coconut milk dip
– Deep-fried vegetable spring roll
– Fried shrimp wrapped in fine rice noodles
– Golden crispy cup with chicken and sweet corn
– Chicken satay with peanut sauce
– Grilled marinated pork with lemongrass
– Flat noodle stuffed minced pork, vegetable and seafood sauce
– Marinated chicken wrapped with pandan leav

Salads:
– Spicy seafood salad
– Grilled beef salad with tomato and cucumber
– Spicy barbecue duck salad
– Spicy crispy morning glory salad with squid ,shrimp and minced chicken
– Green mango salad with shrimp
– Spicy glass noodle salad with minced pork
– Green papaya salad
– Soft shell crab salad with Thai herbs
– Fluffy deep-fried minced shrimp with spicy green mango salad

Soups:
– Hot and sour prawn soup with lemongrass
– Spicy seafood soup
– Chicken soup with roasted herbs and tamarind juice
– Chicken soup with coconut milk and galangal

Main Courses:
– Thai Panaeng curry with pork
– Deep-fried fish marinated with turmeric

Please be aware that we are not having all dishes daily. There will be a rotation cycle and if you are craving for a special dish (like Rick for Curry crab – we will have it Saturday for lunch^^) let me know and I will figure out which days we will have on the buffet. Addditionally to the mentioned Thai dishes we are still offering a wide selection of fresh seafood, sushi, pizza, desserts and kind of a Hot Pot.

We will be hosting the Flavors of Thailand as buffet in our All Day Dining Restaurant Riviera.

I cannot promise if there will be any chili crab or curry crab. Tomorrow I will ask the chefs and then let you know.

At the moment we already have daily for lunch and dinner cold crab legs on the buffet. Our seafood selection also features abalone, scallop, shrimps, tuna and salmon sashimi.

unfortunately we only have some chilled juices included in the buffet. But I can recommend you our All You Can Drink Beer Package which includes Tsingtao, Carlsberg and Harbin Beer for 45 RMB net.

sorry for my late reply here in the forum. Had two weeks off to spend some time with my parents.

Thank you for your kind review! It was a pleasure having you as our guests and I hope to see you again soon! I can assure you that also in our Chinese restaurant we only use the freshest ingredients.

From Thursday (19th of June) on we will host a 10 day Thai Food promotion at our Western restaurant Riviera. We have three Thai chefs flying in from Centara Grand in Bangkok who will provide authentic Thai cuisine. The discount program (club Entree) can be applied. Lunch is 168 net and dinner 198 net. Hope to see some of you guys!
