    I hear ya. And thanks for the site…I’ve been using http://www.travelfish.org which does a great job of covering SEA. Unlike you, I’ve yet to do much homework but have a lot more time to kill!

    I’ve pretty much decided not to risk the shut down headache in BKK and just add another leg to my flight to Phuket or Krabi. AirAsia has a promo for the next week and a half or so…hard to beat. Maybe I’ll catch a train up north and then work my way into BKK a few days before my departure.
