cheers for the tips peoples. i think i have formulated a plan…

ride Pengzhou on saturday (30th)

ride Longquan on sunday (31st)

catch a bus or train to songpan on monday, do some exploring then ride back to chengdu from thursday through the saturday.

could anyone send me the a good starting location in in Pengzhou or longquan. expecting to get pretty lost!

Hello all,

I am coming to chengdu next week (29th-7th) for some mountain biking. reading the posts above it is looking promising. i have a few questions and would be very grateful if you could help:

1)in Qingbaijiang, to the north east, there are some purpose built tracks where the National Mountain Bike Championship were held. are these good to ride? does anybody know exactly where they are?

2)my other plans is to ride (or bus it) to Songpan up in the north where i have read the horse trekking is good, so i assume the mountain biking is also good. is this a good plan, or is the park closed to bikes.

3)around chengdu or with reasonable distance from chengdu can anybody recommend a mtb hot spots

4)does anybody fancy joining me for any of the above?
