stephane would do 😉
StephaneParticipantHi Kim, I used to work for a singaporian developer who was setting up an equestrian club in Pixian. Its called Hejing. this is their website: http://www.msclub.com.cn/newsite/main.asp . Not sure how they handle the horses these days, but 3 years ago they didn’t have a clue on how to feed and treat… there is a very big club in shuangliu (airport area), they even hosted a china world cup session of show jumping there, but i dont really know how to get there. There is a chengdu equestrian association, they have their office near the Sheraton and the football stadium. ( If they didnt move the last couple of years). I’ll see if I can dig up some more details. Let me know if you want to go visit, I would like to join and check what they made of the place.
StephaneParticipanthi jonny, there is one in the wanfujing shopping mall, think its on the 4th or 5th floor, same one as the cinema. quite new. you should be able to bargain the membership down to about 1700 per year. Cheers!
StephaneParticipantHi Jordan.
There is a field hockey pitch in tai ping si, on the right side, next to the football pitches. (opposite to the army airport). it’s sand, not water astro, but looks ok.
I’ve had a colleague call them about two years ago , at that time I was told this pitch can only be used by the ‘professionals’ that train there almost daily. Think they train mornings.
Would be awesome to get some ppl together and eventually give those ‘professionals’ a beating …
I brought two sticks and a ball a couple of months ago, so I’m def up for it.
StephaneParticipantI blame the major construction works (second ringroad, subway,…) in combination with no rain or even a slight breeze for quite a while. As soon as humidity and some showers are back, second ringroad is done (around June no?) I’m quite sure levels will be back to normal again.
