On Saturday, June 28th, Jellyfish is throwing it’s first Pool party of the year with collabarition with Sinostage and Tiger Beer.
After the success of last year’s parties Jellyfish is throwing another one that promises to be bigger and better than ever in the Same beautiful location – The Homeland 5 star Hotel.
This time, the party will Include the Wet T-shirt contest, 3 awesome shows by Sinostage (40 dancers flash-dance, breakdance battleout, and freestyle rap shows), A skateboard jump ramp by Dinamika, Floating Islands, trampolines, volleyball, floaters, water guns, ‘King of the Island’ competitions, and Ofcourse 4 Djs (Foster, Mark 10, Nyna and Wu). The Event will be hosted by Mr. T.
Time: The party starts at 14:00 and goes all the way till 22:00.
Location: The pool in Homeland 5 Stars hotel (on the way to the airport – 25Y taxi)
Price: Pre-sale in Jellyfish and The Spot 100/70 Guys/girls. Price includes entrance, One free drink and Free bus transportation to/from Jellyfish (14:00,15:00,16:00,20:30,21:30,22:30).

Thanks to everyone for coming to the Chengdu Business Connection meeting in The Spot yesterday. We enjoyed it a lot and hope everyone did too.
Big Thanks to Michael for the hard work and beautiful hosting. We had a full house all the way from 7 till 11 of interesting and motivated people and it’s all thanks to Michael’s hard work and consistency.

I don’t think it’s pretentious, I never claimed we have the best quality and service, that is not even measureable. I just said in this season when many bars are closed, and many empty, Jellyfish is full of people dancing on every night.
Qingdao beer has many different products of different qualities. The one we sell is one of their better ones, it’s actually not bad.
When you go to bars you don’t just buy drinks, you also buy everything around it, the atmosphere, the music, the crowd… Our prices are more expensive than some places and cheaper than others. There are different bars and clubs with different styles and different pricing. It’s up to you to choose which bar do you like to hangout in and also suits your budget. Different people like different bars. Some don’t like Jellyfish and some do. If you don’t like what we do, there’s no harm done.
As for the “Magma” I have to agree, it’s an awesome place, I have only good things to say about it and I strongly recommend people to go check it out.

from Wednesday Dec. 18, The Spot will be under renovation for a period of around one month and will not be open.
Around Mid-January The Spot will re-open prettier, better and with a new menu.
We apologize to all loyal customers and friends for the inconvenience and await to see you again after re-opening.A huge thanks for everyone that came down tonight and helped us re-phrase the definition of awesome! This was something Chengdu had never seen before. 1500 people thru the door before midnight when we had to close the gates for 2 hours in order to create more space inside the party. we would like to apologize to all the guests who were rejected. and thank all those that danced all night long and stayed with us until 6am. This party was nuts And will remain a part in the history books of the Chengdu parties!

Preparations going along well. The crew is on the location for 2 days now setting up the establishment, settings and equipment. By tomorrow should be all done and ready for action.
We have already sold around 350 tickets (65% girls;)), 48 hours prior to door openning, which seems to be even better than last year. This is the place to be for everyone that wants to party in Halloween…
For your convenience I include the address and map for the location, which is right on the 2nd ring road, 1.5 Km from the Jellyfish.

Kingdom is an awesome producer, but a seriously weird booking for a top 40 venue like Jellyfish. Hope this works out.

Seriously though, Kingdom is a big name, He is an awesome producer and Dj and I’m sure he will nail it!
We did place him early on the Dj schedule though, around 10pm to 12pm. After he goes down, the best Jelly’s residents (R-sun, Mark 10, Nyna and Wu) will make sure everyone is dancing and jumping till the morning, or until everyone drops down!

After hosting 1200 guests last year and winning chengoo city life magazine readers choice award for event of the year, this time around Jellyfish promises more awesomeness than ever, in a better, closer location and with a bad ass big name head-liner dj.
Every year Adidas throws DJ line parties in top bars in Beijing and Shanghai. This year is the first time they come to Chengdu, and they decided to join in the Jellyfish Halloween party. And so, Jellyfish is proud to present, the headliner of the event, DJ Kingdom!
This time we promise to give everyone, except for DJ Kingdom some of the best DJs in Chengdu – DJ Wu, DJ R-Sun, DJ Nyna and Mark 10.
The beautiful location is the CRland plaza’s first floor (华润广场）, which is on the second ring road, just beside the east lake park. Practically walking distance from the Jellyfish.
Tickets are sold daily at Jellyfish. Pre-sale price is 60/80 for girls/guys. At the door price is 100. Including 1 Free drink!
Hope to see all of you there in costumes!

I went there yesterday for the first time and I’m now a fan too. The decor was cool and refreshing, the staff was attentive, efficient, friendly and preceptive, The cakes and cofffee were on the spot and the over-all feeling was really good. Good Job girls! wish you many years of success and luck!Not between 6-10. After 10 we’re going back to normal. Until then you have a chance to try some new (and awesome) stuff 🙂
