Hello ok I will send you an email. One bedroom is available on Aug 1st, the second bedroom is available after Aug 9th.
I have contacted the agent – they are saying the new person needs to sign a new contract for 1 year. They said you won’t have to pay a new agency fee though, only the bond.
I’ve lived here for almost a month now. One of the most exciting (and rewarding) things for me so far has been learning the language. At the moment, being able to tell a taxi driver exactly where to go is almost worth a celebratory beer!
If its just a matter of fees than it will be easy going. Yeah the exchange rate in oz was terrible. I only brought over 2k, wish I brought over more! I’m in chengdu now so I’ll just compare the fees with either option, transfer a small sum and see how it goes. Then will transfer what I need. Thanks for the advice !
So even with all the advice you guys have posted (thanks for the read) I need some clarification on how to get money from Australia to China (less than 10k) (without doing 1000RMB international ATM withdrawals with a 10AUD fee every time).
I have a China Construction Bank account – Would I be able to do a direct bank transfer between my AUD bank account and CCB once I activate online services with CCB?
OR would Western Union direct bank transfer be the option? Thanks
I tried to get a Chinese Sim card from 2 different China Mobile places, but they did not let me. I needed a Chinese ID card, a passport was not enough. Has something changed or should I try China Unicom?
I’m in! have played football since I was a kid but had to give it up for a few years because of work. Is there any Futsal that is played in Chengdu?
If the draft hasn’t been done yet then I am keen. Won’t be around though until after the 25th of this month but would I be able to sign up online when the draft is on?
