‘我也是醉了’ is a catch phrase we use to satirize someone when he has done something incorrectly in a weird way that you can’t understand or reason with.
Hi Steven, I think this 醉了 in Chinese means 陶醉, not 喝醉， so as my opinion, I think better translation is “I probably intoxicated” or “I probably fall in love with it”

巴不得bā bù dé
迫切盼望 earnestly wish; itching to do sth.例：她巴不得马上就走。
tā bā bù dé mǎ shànɡ jiù zǒu 。She is anxious to go at once.
吃老本 chī lǎo běn
【解释】老本：最初的本钱，比喻原有的能力、基础、成绩、功劳等。“吃老本”比喻只靠 原有的本事去工作而没有新的作为。老本，original capital, likened to primary ability, basement, contribution, etc. “吃老本” is likened to people who work with original skill, without new deeds.
【情景1】某厂外方厂长贝拉迪在对工人进行教育。

It’s just a informal phrase, appears in daily conversations mostly.
Or you can use the set phrase 疲于奔命（pí yú bēn mìnɡ）, which is more formal, it means to be kept constantly on the run; to be tired from running around; to be weighed down with work.奔命bēn mìnɡ

【解释】倒：反面的，相反的。“帮倒忙”指帮忙的结果反而给人增加了麻烦。多用来怪人 跟着瞎忙活。
倒，reversed, contrary. “帮倒忙” refers to being more of a hindrance than a help. It is mainly used to blame others for their foolish help.
