If you’re Chinese, that’s a fair wage. If you’re a foreigner then no, you should be making at least double that for full time office work.
GAME OF THRONES IS BACK WOOHOO!
Well since the first 4 episodes were leaked (and we all know we watched them early) … there’s been nothing to look forward to every Monday til now!
Game of Thrones Ep 5 is out today, come by The Clubhouse or Macchu Picchu and watch it on the big screen!
I’ll give you some “advice” that was given to me when i first arrived in China (5 years ag0) by an English teacher who had already been here 7 years.
“You are not a teacher. You are a white monkey for show” (please substitute color to match your skin tone)
Once you accept this fact and stop taking your job so seriously you can live in peace and harmony with your situation. Also don’t work for agencies they just take your money and give you shitty situations.
We’ll be showing Episode 2 tonight at 9pm, and if any of you missed episode 1 you can catch it at 8pm. At the ClubHouse (12th floor of Soho building)

Last Monday@ the Clubhouse I played episode 2 after episode 1 was finished. Most people didn’t watch it, so it seems most of us are happy to wait each week to watch the new one in HD.
Also to everyone who came: I will arrange the seats better next time! I had no idea so many people were going to show up… Sorry it was so cluttered/crowded.
It’s kind of like Musical chairs. But there’s only one chair and you just fight each-other to sit in it. Add some dragons and naked people and you got Game of Thrones.
We had a birthday party at Bad Panda the other night and it was fun! Nice atmosphere, good music, decent drinks and beers. Nice to party at Poly center without having to wait 15 minutes for the elevator.
For those of you who are British and reading the previous, please substitute the word “theater” with “Cinema” so you don’t get the wrong idea about our party…. (haha)
Hey guys I know we were talking about what to show on Mondays now that Walking Dead is over…. So starting this Monday we will be showing New Game of Thrones episodes on the porch theater. For those who haven’t been we have a nice covered outside theater space with projector and plenty of seating. Burritos, Beer, and BBQ Chicken wings will be served.

Yes I think we will start showing GOT on Mondays. Macchu Pichu does a great GOT viewing party on Mondays as well. I went every week last year, but there are so many GOT fans I don’t think it would hurt to have a second location.
I don’t want to spoil anything but my friend Christian read the books and he said a major character might die this season.

@MoisesLop So as not to set the bar too high I should probably tell you what you’re going to find is more “tex-mex” than true Mexican. However we do have several Mexican customers who like our food and eat here regularly.TONIGHT! WALKING DEAD PARTY @ The ClubHouse. Big Screen Projectorfied zombies on the porch for everyone.
We are gonna pause the Mexican food for one night (we’re usually closed on Mondays anyway) and serve BBQ Chicken! Last week’s episode at 8pm and this week’s new episode at 9pm.
Also we will probably keep this up every Monday. When Walking dead is over there’s Better Call Saul. When Better Call Saul is over hmm… can anyone think of a really popular TV series we could show on Mondays? Any ideas? Like a weekly TV series that people really like…

Hey guys a lot of people have been asking me when we’re going to open again (we closed for Spring Festival for a month). The answer is tomorrow! Thursday March 19th. Back to the normal schedule of Thu-Sun 6p-11p.
I don’t know about you guys but… I can’t wait to go back to eating Mexican food every day. After 5 years living here the Chinese food just doesn’t seem as exciting to me as it used to…
@woodwerd, what time were you there? We usually close the kitchen at 11pm regardless of how many people are in The Clubhouse, because next-door Hakka Bar is always filled with people and they seem strangely hungry all the time…
