They are all over Chengdu now. The original one was MrX in The former East Music Park.

There is now one in the Polycenter (what isn’t in there now). It is a while since I went but it’s in the part of the Polycenter nearer the US Consulate. You enter by the door beside the Tous Les Jour bakery. Can’t remember which floor it’s on but it was heavily advertised in the lobby.

Just a heads up that we will be replaying the Thanksgiving fixtures back to back from 6pm tomorrow night. An ideal chance to work off a meat hangover with a few beers.

    Hi borntosail,

You are correct that we aren’t quite the perfect NFL bar and hopefully that can change in the future. We were quite honest on this forum, when we started showing NFL that we were happy to adjust to what the audience wanted and that seemed to be Redzone and live Sunday football.

As three soccer loving Europeans the American sport has been a bit new to us. Although only open four days at the moment we do hope to change that. We are a new bar and building up activities to fill up days,

At present what we do offer weekly is that we show the Thursday night football replay at 8.30pm on a Friday night. It’s preceded by a NCAA game from the previous weekend. On a Sunday we have NCAA replays followed by Redzone and live action.

We are actually really looking forward to the Saturday play off games and plan to host parties round them.

We have the channels to show all the games (live or on replay) so it’s really just a case of whether enough people want to watch the replays. If people tell us that a bunch of folk will come we will open.

Also, with our NFL network package we can put any game on at any time on demand within our opening hours. If anyone wants to see a specific game they can just contact us through wechat (id – theclubhouse) and we can work out a time.

    Regards

The opening game of the season is this Sunday at 7.35pm at Sichuan Gymnasium. The Sichuan Blue Whales will take on the Xinjiang Flying Tigers.

Tickets aren’t cheap for this game a1 120rmb (it’s one of the six premium games this season with the rest of the regular season games priced at 90rmb). Perhaps it will be possible to pick up tickets cheaper outside on the night.

At the Clubhouse we are planning a bit of a basketball day. We’ll have NBA TV showing the previous nights games and NBA Live 15 on the xbox before and after the game. We hope we can all go in a group to watch The Panda’s Friend make his CBA debut.

If you are interested in coming along let us know so we can get the tickets ordered. We will be creating a Weixin group specifically for this event (add us, id -TheClubhouse) but will also monitor this thread.

    Thanks

    Sounds interesting Charlie.

We will get the FIFA tournament up and running today and then look at getting a Madden or NBA one up and running for next week. There are plenty of TVs to plug into so no reason why they couldn’t run simultaneously on Thursdays. We have also considered running some beat em up tournaments as well.

For the NFL fans we are happy to update that we now have a second Live channel that will allow us to show a full live game at 1am (Patriots @ Vikings) as well as having Redzone live at the same time.

For all other sports fans it is a busy weekend. See our schedule below.

And if we do have a game live it looks like it’ll be the Redskins @ Houston Texans

Exactly the game that Chris and I would most like to see. Awaiting confirmation of this!

I am pleased to let you know that we just added the NFL Network to our package so we are good to go for any Live Games and On Demand replays.

Sunday will be the first chance we have to try it so hope it will go smoothly but hope you guys will have patience if it doesn’t go perfectly smoothly first time out.

We are also still hopeful that perhaps one of thousands of other channels will be showing games and we can get a few games on the go simultaneously or perhaps RedZone on one screen.

Schedule will be (based on your comment above but the 1am and 4.25 games could easily be swapped).

    Packers @ Seattle (Replay) – Friday 9PM
    Redskins @ Texans (Live) – Sunday Night/Monday Morning 1AM
    49ers @ Cowboys (Live) – Monday Morning 4.25AM

We would need a decent crowd committed to the late game on Sunday to stay open.

Hopefully able to show some games but really not 100% sure at the moment. In previous years ASN showed NFL live. They just issued a statement today:

    “Dear ASN fans,

We apologize for the delay in announcing the NFL 2014/15 schedule. We are pleased to inform you that ASN will broadcast NFL Live in Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Macau, Myanmar, Brunei, Cambodia & Laos.
Please check out our ASN website and join our Facebook page to get the latest news.

For viewers who are in other countries such as Hong Kong, Taiwan and Thailand, please check with your local broadcasters for more information.

    ASN”

Our ASN HD channels come from HK and TW….

We have other ASN channels on our IPTV system, just not sure which country they come from. We will try to confirm tomorrow.

    Cheers

The schedule for this upcoming season isn’t out yet, is it? Never been to a CBA game before but now I finally have a reason to.

I think the season starts in November. We can help out purchasing tickets, if there is a big group, so we can sit together.

Definitely interested in watching NFL games that air at reasonable times. You guys have WiFi, right? I need to keep tabs on my fantasy team.

    Yep, wifi friendly.
