Isn’t “鼓楼国际” Gulou International an office compound? My office will be very very near this building itself. So i would be looking for somewhere that’s like 10 mins walk away.

Really cannot thank you enough for the advices. I do realise that using of emails may not be the best remote method, I have yet to have QQ yet at this moment.

Don’t worry, I will definite be travelling down to take a look of the actual apartment sometimes Dec/ Jan, and is expecting to stay in a hostel/ budget hotel for the few days before I’m ready to settle into the apartment. And I would seek assistance from my new colleagues as well. Now I just wanna have a feel on the kinda budget needed.

Definitely when I am finally there, I would love to join any outings that the forum hosts.

There are agencies that I can ask around? That would really be great. I’m not so familiar with the area and road names yet, but I guess some Pu Tong Hua should tide me over somehow.

So I guess typically a good RMB1500 – 2000 should get me a fairly decent apartment around that area? Would there be any means to contact the agencies via emails?

I will be working in Chengdu from Dec onwards, and would need to hunt for an apartment (studio or 1-bedroom) which is not too far from my workplace in West Daqiang Street, Qingyang district. I did some searching online but have yet to find suitable ones.

Can someone recommend a suitable location near the workplace?

I am actually looking for some 6 – 12 months rental apartment as I will be sent to work in Chengdu soon.

Just wondering where would be good to stay while my office would be in Daqiang West Street itself. Hopefully it can be near to my workplace.
