AM: it very much depends what China Telecom provides at the point of time. Or so I thought, I had signed for the package because I needed internet at home, so all the while I was only watching what’s being screened there and then.

If you are interested in getting the package, we can discuss over PM?

    Hi Guys,

Sorry for the delay response. Been quite tied up with works lately.

    HP = Handphone

IPTV is sorta cable TV services provided by China Telecom, because my landlord is not HDMI model, so I wasn’t quite sure if the IPTV is HD.

There few main stations available in the IPTV from sports, news, movies, dramas, current affairs and so on. Personally I watch the movies and serials on it. The movie titles are quite up to date, I must say.

Do note these are only sold in optical stores, you cannot find them in the convenience stores or Watson’s or such stores.

    Hi Guys,

I would soon be leaving CD as well, and I just had signed for the China Telecom 169 home internet package few months back. I would like to let go of the package, you will save on the installation fee. The package comes with a phone as well, for those who knows what I am referring to.. More details, PM me.

JerryS: your mask is more to CD warfare usage? Althou I doubt any of the locals will be staring real hard.

I heard wearing mask while exercising increases your lung activities as they have to work harder to intake the air, pple, do take cautions while doing so.

    Hi Andy,

That’s what I felt as well. The courses at New Territory is running from less experienced coach ($3000/10hrs) to very experienced coach (6000/10hrs). non-member swinging at the range will buy ballas at 1buck per ball (box of 30). Lessons do not includes ballas.

that’s why I wanna check around for decent coaching.

in this case, all i need to regain my posture and swing on my own. why would i wanna pay 600rmb for “coaches” with only basic skills??

I realised that I can’t swing anymore and would like to get some coaching properly thou.

It does seem that there are coaches in Chengdu, but the packages are not attractive at New Territory, so I checking around.

Everyone is talking about China Telecom only, how about UNICOM? Is their service level good, and connectivity of course..that’s more important…

I’m also looking to sign a LAN line, but do not wish to be tied down a long term contract…I heard unicom has a half year prepaid plan, was china telecom has similar plans? Or is there any other service provider in the market?

“It was RMB 900 for Americans in Shanghai last spring (April 2011) when I did it.

Damn, that has gone up considerably. Thanks for the info James. “

I guess this is still cheaper than having to pay airfare in/out of China…
