Hello Hao, Do you have a shop at Taobao, where we can see more information about your products (with pictures and descriptions for each kind of tea)? Thanks!

I applied for a Taobao shop before, never used. Since you mentioned it, It can be a good idea to reuse it :).  If I got spare time, I will be working on it. Thanks for your suggestion.

My pleasure, can you check out price/quantity because maybe I misuderstood… for 500g price change because is a different quality?

Probably I should assign names for different tea with different price. I will do that.

    Hi, Federico:

They all are called green tea, but they are classified into different price range due to tea quality including size of tea leaves, the tenderness of tea leaves, and process ways( purely handmade or partial machine etc), as well as product shape,   size, colour, fragrange, the colour of teawater.

Many factors come together to decide tea’s value, then price. It is complex, and that’s part of tea culture.

If I am free, I will explain more

A nice day Hao Can you give us different quantity/price? Thank you!

    Thanks for your interest:).

    1. Green tea with 80 YUAN for 500 gram;                         10 gram is 1.6 Yuan

    2. Green tea with 160 Yuan for 500 gram;                         10 gram is 3.2 Yuan

    3. Green tea with 300 Yuan for 500 gram;                         10 gram is 6 Yuan

    4. White tea with 90Yuan for 500 gram;                              10 gram is 1.8 Yuan

    5. White tea with 300 Yuan for 500 gram;                         10 gram is 6 Yuan

The minimum quantity for sale is 10 gram.

The price above is actually very reasonable. All teas are picked from pollution free highland, and the quantitity picked is limited, plus labour cost and process cost, the prices listed are actually for promotion :).    一分价钱,一分货。meaning the product price corresponding to its value:).

I am sorry that tea price does not cover delivery fee.  From now, you may ask me for delivery , with charge of 20 Yuan, or by express delivery of 8 Yuan.

Finally, we may arrange a time in which we both are free :).

I just picked up some of Hao’s tea this weekend and have to say it’s some of the best I’ve tried since being in China. A very ‘fresh’ green tea with an almost sweet flavor to it, without being specifically sweet. Well worth the 80rmb (500g) for anyone who enjoys the green Cha!

    Hi, Brendan:

Thanks a lot for your kind words. I really appreciate your support.

It is good to know you like the tea. The green tea I am selling is this year’s produce, which is fresh.  The adequate amount of tea plus boiled water of proper temperature can make a nutritional green tea.

I do find the difference between the green tea brewed with water in chengdu ( including purified water, bottled mineral water and tap water etc and the water of my hometown. The water produced in my hometown is actually from snow moutains, thus it is cold, fresh and clean, as well as rich in minerals, just natural. The tea brewed with this water shows great light-green colour, and the flavour of the green tea can be gained in maximum, also the mouthfeeling is much more comfortable,  drinking tea is closer to acting tea art :).

I will be trying to expand my products. However, The point I am insisting is all teas for sale must be fresh, clean, free from chemical residues, maintainging natural state.

After green tea has been steeped, can it be drank cold and still provide the same health benefits?

One of the most important features of green tea is the natural substances in tea are greatly maintained so that nutritional compunds are not disrupted. Tea polyphenols, vitamins and tiny minerals are still active after processed. As green tea is brewed, these nutritional substances are released。 I do not think drinking cold green tea will have influence in nutritional changes :).

    Hey Hao,
Looks good. I think the white tea is a little out of my price range right now, but I would still like the green tea. Let me know when you have the tea and we can arrange a time to meet. If you could give me a sample of some other teas, that would be great!

    hi,Rachel:

I have sent you message for details, please feel free to check.

    Many thanks for your support:)

There aren’t any actual dragon boat festivities in Chengdu that I know of, although there are special events at Jinli which would probably be a good place to take kids. A major feature of Duanwujie is zongzi, the leaf-wrapped gelatinous rice.

For the aspect of China culture, Charlie, you are like a Chinese and more than Chinese, knowing too much deeply:)

Red wines produced in Europe are famous in China, having high reputation, however, there is also tendency that the market of redwine from other countries is expanding.  I would say there are also good quality red wines produced in Oz and agentina 🙂

Another possibility is importers may focus on red wines produced from Australia and New Zealand or south america countries. After all, there are certain amount of people who want good quality red wine with reasonable price. The market exists:)

Sure I can wait until next Tuesday. I’m interested in trying the white tea too! I love tea. How much is the White tea?

    Hi, Rachel:

    Thanks for your patience.

The white tea is different from green tea. It has cool special flavour, longer lasting in color and flavour. At firstly, it is very popular for farmers, in summer,  they are still doing heavy agricultural labour work, they need a cheap and powerful drink to release thirsty and to regulate body temperature, thus a kind of tree leaves are found and manufactured, the finished product is called white tea as the leaves are white color. With social development, white tea has been known to have anti-inflammation activity, high contents of amino acids, to balance the level of blood glucose and so on.  Some of them (depending on produce region) can even have medicinal effect to reduce fever effectively. In previous years, people in some undeveloped regions used this tea to treat rubeola.

Nowadays, it has been drawing more attention, particularly in summer. And the process methods have been modified. Due to limited tree distribution and production, the price depends. The product to be provided has a beautiful name Coosummer. It is made of fine tender leaves , presenting excellent quality. The price is 300Yuan /500 gram. Thanks for your time on reading this. :).

Hope you have a idea about this white tea.

I’m also interest in the 80 kuai kind. This is perfect because I need some presents for friends back home. I live near Charlie, so when you give him his, I can get mine at the same time. Thanks!

    Hi, Rachel:

Thanks for your interest in this green tea. It is always great to see you foreigners like traditional chinese green tea.  The green tea with 80Yuan is more popular than expected, thus it is sold out at present, however,  it will be available on next Tuesday, along with new tea product called White Tea. I am wondering if you are ok to wait this long for this.

Currently, I am just trying to reach the market of foreigners living in Chengdu, providing the tea with  cost price.  So I do the delivery and  talk to you face to face to introduce these products ( it is rare to gain the quality green tea without contamination of pesticides in Sichuan , I would say).

Oh, Charlie has picked his tea. It is always fine for me to make arrangement to suit your time for tea delivery. Many thanks for your support.

    Hao
