squirrel suitParticipant
(hopefully) re/connect you to ‘what’ you are at your core… An animal evolved of a natural landscape, tuned into your surroundings with ultra-high definition clarity, in order that you may fight for your survival and arrive present day courtesy of your ancestors.
What about when the PM2.5 is really high and it’s a bad idea to go outside, should I just do other animal things to help me get enlightened?
squirrel suitParticipantYou’re right. Air Asia does fly to Chengdu. I had only looked for flights between Thailand and Chengdu, and it doesn’t offer those. Only flights from Kuala Lumpur. My apologies.
squirrel suitParticipantAnyone updates? I’m definitely interested. I’ve already got a flight out of Chengdu booked (Air Asia doesn’t fly here anyways) but would love to save some money on the rest of my trip, even just flying into CQ on Air Asia and then $15 for the train would save dough.
squirrel suitParticipantI know of several people are enrolled in language programs at universities, and use that for their visa and then teach on the side. Is it strictly legal? nope, but no one seems to care.
squirrel suitParticipantHow much damage to the health does breathing unfiltered air when biking or running do? Is it worth the discomfort of wearing a mask that actually makes breathing more laborious?
Not asking about the guy in the picture, but I bought a mask recently that isn’t comfortable and makes drawing breath kinda hard, can’t decide if it’s worth wearing.
squirrel suitParticipantMy bike has multiple gears, how badly will get ostracized if I bring it on this trip?
squirrel suitParticipantIf you guys manage to find a place where foreigners aren’t pointed at and have “Laowai” yelled at them, PLEASE let me know! I can’t even get on the elevator in my building without old women grabbing their grandkids hands and making them point at me while saying “laowai shushu”
squirrel suitParticipantAll of the Americans I know who have had suits made in China did so in Beijing, at stores that service tons of western businessmen suits every day. That’s not to say that Charlie’s friends store isn’t a good place to get a suit, but if I was going to try to get a suit made in Chengdu, it would be because it was cheap, and foreigners in Chengdu charge way more than the locals do.
squirrel suitParticipantI’ve heard that there are mountain bike trails on longquanshan, but that Chengdu won’t let you take a bike on the subway (stupid rule, like no eating) Anyone have any ideas on how to get uot there without having to hire a driver and pay a dump ton of cash?
