I still believe Chengdu rush hour cant compare with Beijing, Shanghai, cities in US, where those as famous as giant traffic jam. this mighty be welfare for Chengdu people…hehehe…
he is not gonna stay in Shangri-la, but only his accompany. He and Xi Jinping (Hu Jintao’s successor) settle down in JinNiu Hotel, where only Chinese top politician stay there, this official hotel for Chinese government not absolute open for public but receiving Chinese leader visiting to Chengdu first.
my little hometown hard to keep “traditional”: e.g.,here most steak are fake with Chinese style; or they serve decent/professional product or service at first year, and second year goes down…..this is a regulation.
Two elements may involve in issue: first one from customer, with long historical consumption habituate; second one comes from low labor cost, may not stimulate survive or maintaining in second class city as Chengdu.
hope foreigners can make their style in chengdu. I was in Australia, where bars are really crazy/cool….like lol… hehehe
Simple, u know how reaction from Chinese public. Guess Mr.Vice coming for China buy US treasury bond; and vote for next president election from international support. But to my personal, visiting Chengdu is interesting, where does not involve in both two at all. Only known by key army force here….. 🙂

but human-shape alien still be reasonable somehow.

have you been to Tristar piles(三星堆遗址, San Xin Dui Yi Zhi) in CD? There is a big museum for Tristar piles just nearby my parents home, another one is far away in Mian Yang city(绵阳)I never knew about this under I was 17/18 yr old feel very shock and amazing…… As been told, This culture behind could not be defined as any ancient dynasty in any period of ancient China, and whose handicraft with mystery function and application… .something around piles could not explain till conclude the culture to be alien value point
Address: 金沙遗址博物馆在成都西门金沙车站附近(the museum nearby JinSha Bus Station, West Gate, Chengdu) generally taxi driver know about direction as interest of venue but too far for cost…. if subway completed, that would be good.

But I like this forum and think most are nice guy in this website, and I will show my best to cater this web meet. thx ur idea, ur thinking was 90% similar to what i thought, especially, older dog to care when people was not at home, coz i persuade alot to parents to get this puppy, it is impossible to get the older one with acceptance… hehehe… “ripping up couch cushions and destroying your stuff” is true, sometimes make me a little annoy, but of course love it better than hate. kennel? how about put it into a cage daily in a certain time?
