msinglynxParticipant
Sorry mate, you are tooo late & I’m sad cuz I soldit for 200
msinglynxParticipantAsk for same day results and pray they are lazy…
msinglynxParticipantLook y’all. I’ve gotten a ton of messages from what appear to be mentally deficient asshats (not u Eve). If you need to verify with your honey before spending 10RMB and want to see a photo of a fucking pool pass, you are an idiot. You are getting what you pay for (an object in working order), nothing new here. Dont expect the fucking world for 10 or 75 kuai.
msinglynxParticipantOh and because it’s by entree, you can bring your friends in on the same pass, if you want to hang out/swim together. IMO the best time to go is when it opens at 10am until about 4pm. Only 2-3 old men keeping fit usually (although more people in summer)
msinglynxParticipantHey Charlie. It’s a limited entree pass for a pool in the donghu area. It’s a workout pool so rarely have to deal with little kids. I can take anyone interested there on wednesday (I’d take pics but I just accidentally killed my new phone T_T so if you wanna see it I must take you). It’s basically like signing over a gym pass but we dont even need to bother to change names. They scan the card and remove one entree from the total.
I originally paid 1000 for 60 entries (how the heck do you spell this word?!) and there are something like 38 left. I havent gone in ages though so it might actually be closer to 40 something. This pass expires in either November or January (I can find out when I take whoever to go look). It’s also heated in winter and has a pair of decent saunas. Shower rooms kind of suck but they are usable.
I’d like to get 500 for it but I’m pretty flexible at this point. Please COMMENT here if you are interested. My phone is dead and I never get my private messages here.
ThanksmsinglynxParticipantWell, I accidentally killed my phone so I cant post pictures.
Anyway, I still have this to go by wednesday at the latest:1 yellow bike: standard chinese street bike. It wont be stolen and it doesnt look awesome but it will get you around. Dont waste my time if you have to “think about it”
Samsung Tablet
Pool pass
a super bright reading lamp
set of small free weights
black ikea coffee and end tables
bunch of scarves
msinglynxParticipantStill have stuff. I will be posting pics today.
msinglynxParticipantHow far along is she? I guess pills are out of the question at this point? I am absolutely with Rick on this one. If you can afford it go somewhere else or go to a women’s hospital. But the fact is however/where ever you do it, if it is far enough along there are only a few options and they will injure you. If it’s not 5+ months, she should be ok with getting the parts pulled out in chunks (yeah, exactly what that sounds like), then they “scrape” the womb to remove all the related tissue, which basically leaves a raw open wound inside the womb, hence the bleeding and trouble walking. If she is just a month or two it will still be barely more than a lump. The longer she waits, the more painful and traumatic it will be, so dont try to save up the money to run to HK if it means waiting 2 months. There are many many women’s pregnancy hospitals in town (one near huochenanzhan and kehuabeilu-ish area seems to have a decent reputation) and they will be much less than flying out of the city. Do it as soon as possible. She doesnt want to be seeing things that are identifiably “baby body chunks” and the longer she waits, that is what she will have to look forward to.
msinglynxParticipantFor weekly meetups checkout couchsurfing.com. there is an active group that meets every thursday. They are a mix of local and travelors, foreigners and chinese and usually happy to meet new people. They used to meet at helens but I’m not sure where the new spot is. If you like more professional vibes the monthly toastmasters and entreprenuership meetings are great places to meet people as well. I’ve made some good friends at all 3 places/events.
msinglynxParticipantMaz, the worst that can happen is you get deported, impregnate someone and have a girlfriend who wants to marry you. :p You guys will be fine. Do bring around $1000 (at least) starter money though, that will ensure you are better than fine.
msinglynxParticipantHmm, I would add that you could also do a lot cheaper. If I spend 50RMB on taxis daily and eat out twice I generally spend only 100 per day, so about 3000 per month. This is still true because if I dont take taxis/eat in that week I will probably drink the money during the weekend 😀 I also spend around 800 for rent and 200 for utilities a month. The only times I spend more than that is generally when I blow the lot of money on clothes or have to pay school or visa fees (ugh 14k per yer+ 800 for visas+ 400 for health check= a whole lot of money I could be drinking!). not including those things, my daily life expenses are insanely low. So, depending on your work and just how cheap you are you may very well be able to get by on as little as 6k a month if you bike/take buses, cook your own food and drink at home.
msinglynxParticipantI’ve done a bit of recording here (some singing, voice overs and random narrating for games). I would say I know quite a few expats (DJs and musicians) who would be into a good recording studio that’s not super expensive. There’s also a lot of freelance stuff you can do if you get into recording sounds for games or audio books/etc. You would probably need a Chinese secretary and to socialize a lot but if you were willing to give it 2 years you could probably build a good reputation and a decent amount of work. Dont expect to live off it immediately. As for location, I’d recommend any of the older office buildings downtown and work after noons and evenings. thats what almost every studio I’ve worked with here does (5 of them so far). you can also sound proof the room a bit more but timing helps a lot.
msinglynxParticipantWell, thats all well and good but are you gonna pay? Cuz I stopped making things on spec like….. 10 years ago.
msinglynxParticipantI never understand these posts… so unclear and dont teach anything. What is budaga? When to use it? how? why?
Come on rainbow, you want clients, try harder. I can get a direct translation through google. what’s so special about you?msinglynxParticipantHi troll Fran. I’m gonna be nice and answer some questions:
Fish has been given to a student
All kittens have homes with non-trolls
there is one fish bowl available separately
granny phone is black, about 1.5 inches wide and 5 inches long. Shiny.
You can take all my pens in exchange for all your wumaos. I’m happy to take them off your hands.
you can buy the bus card and use it all you want. I have like 4 (lose/refind them all the time) and they are 25RMB new. Just make sure to top it up.
Cafe menu is omnivorous. The only thing you can find to eat here are raw carrots. maybe.
Don’t bring your crap. Bring a picture.
Unfortunately I am all out of crusty pans but I guess I could make you one if you reeeally want it.
Coke is poison. BYO.
I’m selling the phone, that has the camera, that took that pic.
It’s an indoor pool, who cares how sunny it is? Plus it’s heated for winter swimming.
Bitch, you nasty. Buy your own swimsuit. I prefer to keep ma crabs to ma self.Lastly, how bored were you to write all this garbage?
msinglynxParticipantHe said $6 a year, not month…
msinglynxParticipantI still have a bunch of stuff to sell.
msinglynxParticipantGuys wont be creeps if thats what you are really asking. Old or countryside people might stare a lot but I’ve never had a Chinese guy pass my boundaries. Its very safe to be a woman here. You can walk alone at night, take the taxi, etc. My personal experience is you are way more likely to end up in a fucked up situation with other foreigners. I’m reading your post as ore about sexual harrassment so forgive me if I’m off topic. I will let every one else chime in on their favorite places. It might be good if you say what you like to do & then we can recommend something specific.
msinglynxParticipantA couple of friends and I went to a muay thai gym on the west side of the river (across from lang kuai fong). I’d say we were all a bit disappointed (2 guys who have been fighting for years, a girl that trained in thailand, yself who have just done judo for years, and a pair of super fit randoms/body builders). There was no direction and no instruction on movements, no group training or fitness. It was basically “ok run around til your sweaty then jup in the ring and start hitting each other”. no technical instruction at all until the guys grabbed the instructor and made him teach us something.
Then when we all tried sparring none of the chinese guys would fight us girls, there were 2 chinese girls who shadow boxed cuz they were too small to fight anyone, etc. Wierdly enough a bunch of those guys had great english. Finally one of the male students came to fight with us girls and our guy friends just sparred with each other. we had fun but it was more despite everything. I wouldnt pay just for that “class” for sure because I didnt get my moneys worth.
I wonder if you went to the same place? maybe they fixed it up since october…msinglynxParticipantTry the international schools. I know several asian americans working at some (cant remember the name but they advertise on gochengdoo) and were making at least 12k a month with housing and I think you can get up to 1 kid in to study for free/as part of your pay. Public schools here will pay 100 per class if you go directly but an agency will not pay more than MAYBE 7k tops, including house (if you are lucky) & it’s too much bullshit. You might need to ask those family members to babysit a few times a week so you can supplement your income with a training school.
If you are really outgoing & good with kids and teach english in a creative way I’m willing to hook you up with a well paying part time. I’m moving to shenzhen but they still need someone to teach some after school classes and you can bring your daughter to play with the kids if you want.
