    Wow great!

I was thinking to go to that 航空 street to ask them, since I was unable to find the information online. It’s quite likely that I fly with Sichuan Airlines from Chengdu.

I am quite tired of struggling in the airport to have my bike on the plane, once they asked for $500 dollars! if i can get any kind of printed document which states that it’s free then I will do it, otherwise I will contact Natooke. Thanks!

    Hey,

You have to go to Chadianzi Bus Station. I heard there are direct buses early in the morning, buy the ticket a day in advance. It’s something like 15-20 hours. I don’t know if the bus is to Seda or the buddhist Institute, however, tell the driver to drop you at the junction. Then take a shared vehicle to the temple (few kms.).

The trip pretty though, sometimes the road condition is awful, so if you have time I recommend you to go first to Maerkang (6-7 hours), sleep ther and then the following day up to Seda. This is what I did.

There is only one place to sleep in Seda, a hotel at the top of the hill. Spartan conditions to be called “hotel”, I stayed in a 3 people bedroom 40 RMB each one and I had to go to the public toilets because apparently the place didn’t have them.

The Wuming temple and the village is just gorgeous, believe it or not hasn’t turned into an Chinese tourism amusement park yet. I have traveled quite a lot and I can tell you there are few places all in the world like this one.

    Enjoy it!!

    Hi people,

That sounds weird to me. I used to work at that university until last year, and they didn’t offer any program for foreigners. It’s a language institute for chinese students which offers spanish, english, german, french and other language majors, but not chinese. I didn’t see a single foreigner in a year and a half except for the foreign teachers. The university used to be in Pixian but they moved to Qingchenshan last course.

So, if there’s is a chinese language program, I assume this will be the first year that is offered, so big question mark. According chinese standards, my working experience there was not bad at all.

    I hope it helps!

    Funny, Elizabeth391, funny.

I arrive 5 minutes early at my classroom, turn the AC on to warm it and close the windows. Then the students arrive with gloves, hats, 6 layers of clothes at least(typical question, how many layers do you wear today?) and then madly go to open the windows… I haven’t been able yet to convince them to keep the windows closed. Frustrating. My theory is that they had issues with bad combustion stuff some years ago and they still haven’t realized that NOTHING happens if you stay for few hours in a warm, shufu environment…

Hi guys I have been 2 years in China and there is something I still don´t get.

“Wear a very warm coat inside the office but leave windows open as often as possible. This will make sure the cold air can go out”

Well can anybody explain me that? It just doesn´t make sense to my south European point of view. Back home, when it´s freezing, we turn on any warming device and then close the windows to keep the space warm… is that behaviour that weird? And closing the doors and windows when the room is warm, is such behaviour that bizarre?

    Thanks 🙂

Thanks, i will try to find this random person 🙂

I already moved before and took a taxi (I would need like three trips) and when the driver realized that that furniture was mine he wanted to run away…

Something like 200-300 would be a fair price, I think. It would be only a 30 minutes job…
