    Yes, i only stay till April 25th.

    i was here in chengdu occasionally during the last 2 years (on the whole about 9 month) but i got to know this Forum just 3 month ago 🙁

    i’m back in chengdu, and as i don’t know many people here, i would also like doing something and getting to know somebody of you in the next 2 weeks. Only if gender (male) is no problem for you…

    Unluckily (or luckily!) i flu home yesterday, so i can breath unpoluted air again 🙂

    but anyway, if you have a got idea, i’ll try in April, when i’m bakc in Chengdu.

    okay, i was searching the internet since 2 hours and exactly after i wrote this post i got the answer:

    I have to set an APN manually:

    http://www.86callchina.com/china-mobile-gprs-set-up.htm

    I tried and it really works!

    But thank you for your fast answers…. (in difference to that my mobile network is fu**ing slow)

    As i’ve only 1 week left in china and then not coming back till april, i think spending money for 3G is not neccessary 😉

    Sorry to wake up this old thread.

    I bought myself a China mobile card and activated internet (i got a confirmation of that). Nevertheless, my HTC phone (“sensation”) cannot even connect to GPRS.

    Does anyone have a clue why?
