Charlie, Ikai, thank you very much for your reply.
Let me ask one more thing:
If a foreigner would ask you to suggest him a place in order to discover local culture, what would you suggest?
Such places as RenMin Park (fold performances, mahjong, etc) and some temple, where Kung Fu and Taichi training can be witnessed are widely known. What I’m trying to find out – are the places not so common. Like today I have heard suggestion about “Flowing Water Parl”, which has roots to Daoism religion. I was told than every single family from time to time spends a weekend there.
Do you have something else on your mind?
SlavskyParticipantMeanwhile, could you please tell me what usually happen on the streets during Chinese NY?
SlavskyParticipantOne year has passed since the last reply.
Are there any new spots for the tattoo?
Today I have heard about Ting Gui spot. Feedbacks are nice, though prices are quite high: starting from 800RMB/hour.
Looking forward to hear any other suggestions.
Regards
SlavskyParticipantI live in Pixian, from my windows I can see plenty of factories. In the morning while cleaning my nose with the tissue I can see black dust-based spots, like if I work on construction site. Recently feel very exhausted even without doing any workouts, regardless of how long I`m sleeping. Guess such issue is a way worse than in Downtown. Working out to move to the center. Welcome to China, lol ))
SlavskyParticipantQuote:Thanks for the suggestion, for most of these photos they are displayed in blog posts at 900px width so there is no resizing or additional tabs necessary. For photos like these I use the Jetpack plugin which includes a Photo Carousel module.Just have noticed, it takes a while for the plugin to load. When I was checking before, they were opening in the same window, though if to wait for 5-6 sec they open in carousel. Probably, my internet is quite slow.
About your suggestion – here comes the question: how to define whether photo is superb or mediocre? Everyone sees them differently 🙂
SlavskyParticipantHey, Charlie. Slavsky is just a nick, my full name is Vyacheslav, the short one is Slava, that’s how the nick is formed as well as the name of the web.
Thank you for your reply. I have a canon 500d, tamron 17-50 2.8 F and tamron 70-200 2.8f, though major part of photos were made with other telephoto canon ef-s 55-250, tamron was purchased recently. Apart from that I use quite a lot of photoshop.
You have an impressive web, I do like your photos. My favorite one is the one with the guys playing cards. I would suggest you to set for the new photos to open in the new window, or to install proper plugin for that.
Do you suggest me to split the gallery in two parts?
SlavskyParticipantThank you guys for sharing 🙂
SlavskyParticipantWhy are you leaving?
