Vincent, thats 8 bit one ๐Ÿ™‚ Ahhh brings back memories. But dont buy it, it has 3 good emulators now (Nesticle is my choice) and full games collection is about 1GB for some thousands of games (95% are crap though).

Go to the nearest KTV and ask them for some popular songs. You will get them along with subtitles and video ๐Ÿ™‚ Some persuasion might be required though.

Phone apps are good for that too but small screen will kill your eyes in no time.

P.S. You can actually try and get KTV whole database but god only knows how large the thing is.

P.S.S. While it can help you to speak Chinese, i STILL cant sing a single song on it… T_T

Well i just as well don’t understand expats who try to blend in with the environment, which is impossible by default.

I guess term “local laowai” needs definition here ๐Ÿ™‚

Now, here’s another thing for an audience: Why would you want to become a local laowai?

Screw BoCm. leave for in China usage.

Get BoC or CMB. I prefer CMB but thats only cause BoC internet bank make me rage.

Also get a credit card if you can, both BoC and CMB debit cards are impossible to use for instant payments in some cases.

It is, probably. Id just go to health center with that message in hand, show it to them and let them decide if they wanna test you or not. They have higher authority in that matters. With their official statement you’ll be totally free to walk around, whether someone thinks you’re leper or not.

Well amount of anti laowai rethorics is small due to small number of them around. Try going Dalian, or Shanghai (Beijing is under strict control in that regard) and you will learn a lot about yourself ๐Ÿ™‚

Just another tool in China internal politics. 100 years ago we were foreign devils, 50 years ago anyone not from USSR was capitalist spy… ^_^ Compared to , say, Japan or Korea, China is pretty relaxing place right now.

Lol Ray, seems you got an awful luck. I just had to repair all the minor stuff (cause my flat was empty 1.5 years before i moved in) and now i live happily.

Granted changing 9 bulbs in two days gave me “wonderful” feeling.

The voltage is roughly equivalent to the water pressure, and the amperage, or current, to the quantity of water that flows past a given point per second.(c) Wisegeek.

    So its other way around.

60V is pretty enough for a daily rides and i wouldn’t go past 20A unless i’m suicidal.

As long as battery is standard size you can change all you want within reasonable range, wires also have tolerances.

Just go to a nearest bike shop and pick one to your liking.

Alternatively, go to the Chengdu e bike hell near ๅท่—็ซ‹ไบค (if memory serves) and buy one there.

On a side note, anyone tried having couple GPS beacons on a bike?
