at my former work place a woman who was my boss, brought in some pics of herself. I didn’t quite get it at the time, not to mentioned I actually didn’t recognise her at first. Then I kinda figured it was her and was about to make a comment on how pretty she looked at her high school graduation which must’ve been more then 10 years ago. Luckily, I said something general instead only to learn later that the pics were taken just a month ago. I mean all was heavily photoshopped.

Ha-ha, when i took some ppl there was funny to watch disbelief on the faces of chinese friends when told this piece of ‘bacon’ is not meat
A Chinese friend took me to a Vegetarian buffet place which was a great experience. They also bake own bread sans eggs and milk. Buffet 15 rmb/pers, hot pot & buffet 30 rmb/pers. Its less then 10 min walk from Tianfu square. Do recommend it, good value for money!

Anyway, any outings for Italian food this w-end? I’d love some good Italian food, haven’t had it for quite a while. I’ve been here for good few months, would be great to meet new friends. Giulia would you like to meet another (North) European & get together some time? Ciao 🙂
I’d join for meditation and socializing 🙂 Do you think we can start earlier? Or perhaps we could all get there by like 7:45 so we start 8 pm sharp. Btw busses don’t run that well in the evenings.
Hi Nele, are you talking about Goenka retreat? 10 days, well I suppose so, just to double check. There are 2 or 3 Vipassana schools, Goenka being the most popular one. I’ve been on it few years ago, would also be interested to join in regular sittings. 🙂
how to go about it.. we need a quiet place to start with 🙂 Any ideas?
