after a year working in chengdu I have left the city yesterday and exit with 12 000 usd and 19 000 rmb all in cash no body customs and check point as asking me any thing ! you can exit or enter with usd 10k maximum with out any justify over 10 k you need bank certify documents it’s ours ! you can exit and enter china with maximum 20k rmb so the regulations for a country communist its same like western country ! bye bye chengdu I having a good time there i was working at global center intercontinental hotel opening did , the peoples in chengdu are very kind unfortunately for me the weather is so bad no sun pollution and haze and the language difficulty there ” no one speak english ” make me leaving for those want to come chengdu I cns just say chengdu its not like shanghai and other city developed still for chengdu a long way to go to be international city but it will in next near futures ! peoples in chenghdu its whats I will miss most for their kind attitude Cheers from South Asia ^^
The Global Center is a Joke !! every thing as been buildt wrongly and outside initial bleue print !! except the size of building nothing sexy !! outside size look impressive inside look like a normal mall !! water park is a joke too i won’t say much as i work at Global !! so far any other place in chengdu is more fun Then to be at global center ! Chinesse will like the Center Foreigner won’t !! recommandation just go look one time and you will understand the kind of spirit there and you won’t go again ! ^^
you can enter China with 9999 USD in Cash without justify ! it’s no worry at all to carry USD into China ! you have to justify if you carry 10 000 USD, you can exit China without justify with 9999 USD at the Border Customs won’t make much problem to foreigner, those who are targeted for money laundering are more the chinese citizen !! so go head you can come with usd cash wont happen any thing !! the most trouble is if you carry out china RMB as it’s not allow to export this money ! China are flexible for currency import and export it is not any more like before !!
CCTV 5 Show Live All Game’s ， on a Cable TV also Cctv 5 re-show the next day the game’s during the day Time , for those can’t watch live in a night . ^^

Tag Was no safety at all , even the windows inside the club located at 21 floor are not locked safety ! Drug there it’s a Big issue !Thump to Police and Gov , please keep clean up the messy Place , Hope more operation like this in a futures to make Changdu Standard !
Hope they lock up the floor 21 for ever !! so many place in town where you can party in a decent club safe and free drug !

I Come here for Work Purpose October Last here to Opening a new 5* Hotel in chengdu at Global center ! so far nice city , friendly peoples, laid back a lot ^^ a bit much haha food is great , Women are very pretty here ^__^ and of course income earning and low cost of living here make a attractive life only thing here it’s Sun !! not at all ^^

the point is thats , even go HK would work out , even years later , why? because he as no clearance letter and this will follow him always . so the only options its i know not so good but its works well ! lost passport make a new passport new number and on cv delete your position you was then you can processing for new Z ,if you have new passport and leave on cv the position you was psb wont granted you a permit all the best ..

PS: a New Club as just Open it’s a very cosy place next to Panam and Jelly fish , I recommend ” Magma ” Check out, it’s nice design, cosy Place, very clean , affordable drink and so on , guess there are Educated and well dressed ! ”

Any foreigner in China worker or tourist are entitled to exchange RMB to USD at 500 USD per day Only , you can’t exchange more then 500 USD per day exchange is monday to friday exchange can’t be down on a week end Stock market closed .
since July 2013, the immigration rules as change and also the processing , same day service speed are not allowed at any Chinese consulate , unless you can prove you are a resident in a country you apply for (HK) , if you only tourist visa you would get 3-4 days processing no less, also medical check are not required any more when apply for visa z , the medical it’s down only one time in china when transact to Resident permit and work permit, original Paper are not longer requested , they take Copy only when apply, some Embassy request to fly back home for Z HK still ok so far to apply for Z all the Best .
@ smokeyDx : Don’t worry Chengdu is the Place to have a Friend’s very fast even with Chinese People’s they wont live you alone , give some time to your self , then you will see by hangout at some part of the city you will make friend’s faster then whats you can ever thinking, Chengdu are a place very Friendly to my point of view i’m here since 7 week’s Chengdu are a friendly city for china , you won’t see much in china like Chengdu laid back , if the Shower beside the toilet are common at dormitory , is it not like westerner, if you want shower and toilet same room , you have to use a private room , most dormitory shower are separated from toilet , if it’s your first time in Asia and China don’t be afraid you will use to it later , this is a nice continent to be in China too Enjoy your Stay .
@Amir , 1500 pax, waooo when you see the place its look max 300 can feet, may i ask you a bit, jelly fish seem very messy , can possible to clean up a bit more? when you see the place so dirty you can call this a bar? waoo impressive i dont want be negative on this forum, but so far jelly or panam need a serious clean up please take a soap for a deep cleaning on a floor sticky on a shoes table too long way to go , to make this place a night spot standard in Chengdu! have a good week end
