Hello Federico. How about placing an ad on this site explaining to your prospective customers what your capabilities are. Do you go to them or do they go to you? I am sure there are many people who will support you like me.

I seem to remember that you were thinking of opening an eatery, specializing in Italian dishes. What became of this? You could maybe do both and then see which way the wind blows.

Any map available for line 1 extension South? At the moment we live about 4 km South of Century City, and the entrance to our complex is smack in the middle of 2 entrances to the station. Can’t wait for it to be finished!

Joshua. Many years ago to be gay was to be happy. No more. China, like many countries, have laws to protect innocent citizens from people like you! You short, or he short? Do what some African tribes do. Homosexual is the word. This is sex and shit combined. Disgusting.

One of the reasons of the fall of the Roman empire.

The risk of anal cancer for homosexual men rises by an amazing 4,000 percent and doubles again for those who are HIV positive. According to the Centers for Disease Control, homosexual men are a thousand times more likely to contract AIDS than the general male heterosexual population.

And there are people on this site who support you???

    @ Billy.

In another thread you showed that you were more interested in bars.

You will meet attractive girls there, but probably end up with an STD like “Peter”. You are more likely to meet the kind of girl you want in other locations. Also spiritually and morally attractive.

    http://www.go.-tefl.com.

It has many teaching aids, even for kids aged 3 to 6.The price 3 years ago was 3500 RMB,but you also need to have WORD installed for your assignments.

@ Shiya: Depends on who or where you want to teach. Most schools require a BA,Native English speaker,TEFL..experience etc.Like VincentNL I have the certificate but don’t regard myself as a teacher.Did some teaching in Guanxi 3 years ago,but told them to stick their job as my colleages spoke English that I couldn’t understand, and I did not like the association. You can do the course in 100 hrs. This is 1 week going full out!

Of course you will teach the children some mistakes, that is not easy to remedy later in life. But better some English than none at all I think.

After nearly one year in Chengdu I’ve come to realise that the differences between city centre and some suburbs are vast,so no stereotyoing.Take the Huayang bus 4.Always very dirty and overcrowded. They they really have the loudest hooters. The traffic..most pedestrians have a death wish.Just walk without looking.I have avoided umpteen accidents.I don’t hoot,I shout and swear. The people here talk much louder. Some person in our complex reported me to the police so I had to go to the local P station and show my documents. This is small town,NOT Chengdu, but I think we have better fruit and veg markets.Have not been to other cities in China, but I guess it is the same story.

There was an article in CDL about 10 months ago,but no posts since.Jack Chen advertised as an installer. If you live in an apartment complex you need permission from building management to install a dish.It wil NOT be given. If you install the dish inside, facing through a window in the correct direction it may work.Even so,I would not advertise the fact. The installer should “wrap hide” the dish. There are people who will report you to the police, anonymously of course.About 3800 RMB for the first year.

Walk to the right of C’man Mao towards the museum.Stop 20m short of the museum.Turn left and another 40m will see you in front (on your left) of a building. This is the back of an older building.

    Hello Sandi and welcome,

I said bye bye to my ISP and got Gmail. The downside is that you ‘lose’ Outlook Express.But..you can still have Outlook Express if you look carefully at the Gmail set-up..

Coming from UK as you are,Please remember that we drive on the ‘wrong’ side of the road!W Churchhill did not consider this and was hospitalised in the USA.FIRST!!!Look Left!!Beware the silent battery operated cycles.

My banking experience: My bank does not ask any fees if I keep a certain minimum in my account.

If your wireless modem is of the “Vodafone” Stick variety, forget it.Probably blocked for other providers.Get a modem where you plug in a tel line.ADSL.

If I were you I would set up my laptop now as if I were in China.

Remember all your medications as well as your favourite Aspirins as well.

Your ‘soggy’ chips w’ salt and vinegar you will have to fry yourself.

    Gavvie.
