Cool article. I will be taking orders on my handmade bikes shortly :) http://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2014/04/americas-rebel-band-of-custom-bike-builders/360058/

Speaking of hand built bikes, we just found our way into an American mountain biking magazine regarding our building bamboo bikes.  Here some screenshots:

Looks up Switchback mountain bike on google and you can get access to a free digital copy if you’re interested in a read!

How’re the hills on this route? Is that Jacob in the middle of rape?

It’s for the most part flat.  In the country side there are a few hills, but no long or strenuous climbs.

And yes, that’s me taking a leak in the rapeseed.

I’ll definitely be up for this. Noticing a pattern in these pictures – Will we require a helmet?

Helmets, gloves, etc. are not required but highly recommended.  Safety first!

Again, we’ve published the route and will be riding along, however each rider is individually responsible.  We’ll try to help as much as possible but we will do as little hand-holding as possible.

The group will move at a comfortable speed.  Nothing that the novice cyclist can’t handle.  Be sure to eat and hydrate properly.  Bring some pocket cash for food or drink along the way.

And if you can’t continue or choose not to go on with the ride you’re welcome to split off, just don’t expect us to ride you back.  So be familiar with the route, where we’ve ridden and if you don’t have a photographic memory a map is quite handy.

to Mr.Klink can you lend me some money?

I think you meant to ask:

Mr. Klink can I lend you some money?

Because I could use it more than you.  I could probably use it more efficiently too. Likely in a way that would benefit far more people than you.

So think about your question, and when you’re ready to lend shoot me a pm.

Some schools will offer holiday pay.  Other English training schools operate year round.  Unpaid holiday can also be managed by budgeting and/or picking up odd tutoring jobs or doing some white monkey work.

Simply, don’t let that deter you.

Yeah, I’m sure that they will play a special (acoustic?) set for Bookworm. Their normal style does not suit that venue at all but they are pretty flexible as far as playing to what suits the atmosphere of the venue.

This sounds a bit like when they played at the Dojo. They can definitely pull of a good living room set.

Meh.  I heard the Dojo anniversary party will be better.

Besides, there’s a real chance that the Dojo party will actually happen.  Can’t say that for Zebra…

A comic for all you runners out there: The terrible and wonderful reasons why I run long distances

This is an excellent little comic series.  I’ve only ever run when cycling wasn’t possible, but I think this applies to either really.

forget about running, let`s go riding bike

    Amen!

The fact that this was committed by Uighurs seems like a blatant fabrication of Chinese media.  I was talking with a Chinese friend about the matter and we joked about how something of this nature in no way could be committed by Han Chinese.

That said, watch out for those shao kaoers.  I hear they’re crazy when given a knife.

This seems like a reasonable blue-collar variety scam.  If you generated a list of thousands of active forums then set a goal of targeting four or five in a few hours with a hit rate of maybe, say 1 in 20, it would take maybe a day sitting at a computer to bring in $200.

We honestly know the success rate of such a scam, because honestly most people responding are the same folks that are wise to it and chime in with generally the same flavor of sarcastic “we’ll give you money to medicine for your sick wife Tiki” story.

I’d be curious of the lurking body of this and other similar forums, how many people silently empathize and peow! off money through cyberspace.  How many of these gullible beacons of humanity could exist?  If there’s more than not I’d consider a change in profession.
