If you are planning a visit to Leshan Giant Buddha,be sure to go early in the morning.It is two crowed there in Qingming.It took my friend 2 more hours to line up to see a panorama of the Giant Buddha.Gook luck!

It is district with the best air quality currently in Chengdu.
Better choice for you to plan a visit there in weekend,not in festivals or holidays.
Seek a local Long Jia Le to live ,the expense is 60-80 RMB for a night’s stay.The food is also excellent and cheap at that.And also you can enjoy various kinds of local specialties at the farm house.

Food there has a subtle taste and you can have a try if you are interested in food not that spicy.Stewed dishes are plentiful there.

I am a graduate student in Sichuan University.I am now busy working on my thesis.When I am less busy later,I can lead you to some restaurants enjoying a high reputation in Chengdu if you are interested.
You could tell me which Chinese food you like.Then I can offer suggestions of places in detail.
You can find lots of little restaurants just outside the South Gate of Sichuan University.And many students prefer to have meals outside The Small North Gate.

The Panda Breeding Center is absolute a must visit.And at this time of year,you can see newborn pandas,they are really cute.
It is in the XinDu district of ChengDu city.And if you have enough time,you can try some local food there.
