I was going off of “Live on big screens!”, though maybe Dieter can be persuaded. The HWG rooftop party rooftop sounds awesome though. Apparently I missed both of these unmissable rooftop parties last weekend.

The thing about the Beernest is, it get’s HOT when there’s people rammed into those caves on the ground floor and above, even with the air-con blaring.

So, now it seems that they’re both moving up to ChunXi Lu. Tag was responsible for the huge roof party at IFS last Friday, and Here We Go had another one nearby. Rumour has it that they’ve secured units around there and aren’t returning to the Poly Centre, though we’ll have to wait and see what comes of it.

As for blatant drug use. Following on from what Charlie said about Tag’s policy, HWG staff also asks people not to smoke weed on the premises.

That’s pretty terrible news, has anyone seen anything of it on the local news? I’ve seen those trucks at night and they actually seem to be the fastest thing on the road sometimes.

    <span style=”font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 22px; background-color: rgb(251, 251, 251);”>Silent, and so many people don’t know how the fuck to drive them, absolutely agree here.</span>

They are really my biggest fear. We share the bike lane with something that can go twice as you as fast with sometimes 3 or 4 people on it. I get the impression from some people’s driving that they may have had a little baijiu with dinner, which doesn’t fill me with much confidence as they brake hard, overtake me on the right, or just behave unpredictably.

Man, that Nikon was a steal. I can’t believe I missed out.

Have you any other spare equipment lying around?

The story goes that the poet and minister, Qu Yuan, committed suicide when the capitol of his kingdom was invaded by jumping into the river. The local people adored him, so they raced into the river on dragon boats to save him or his body. They also threw sticky rice balls into the water to tempt the fish to eat those instead of his body.

Poets feature a lot in Chinese history, I realise.

So is this film in German with English subs, or an English dub with Chinese subs?

I forgot to mention. Helen’s is open, business as usual. The whole buildings lit up. But the higher floors are silent.

绿茶婊 -Literally ‘green tea bitch’. The Chinese staff have give me some mixed definitions. Either, she looks cute and innocent but is really a bitch. Or, a girl who always wants you to buy her expensive things, like Louise Vuitton bags, which is apparently where the ‘lv’ comes from.

Not a very nice thing to call a woman. Can confirm: Tried it on the office assistant this morning, and she hasn’t spoken to me since.

This is dated November of last year, but I thought it belonged here. Bastille covering TLC’s No Scrubs. Awesome.

Not looking at spoilers, not looking at spoilers, not looking at spoilers. I’m fed up of being out of the loop on this Game of Thrones business, can anyone point me to where I might be able to start streaming from S1 E1. Currently searching tudou and pps and am having some difficulty.

Half price Guinness has sealed the deal. That brings it to the same price as a Qing Dao. I’ll see you on Sunday.

Great movie, but will there be subtitles? I’m American

Perhaps I can interpret, but some London slang is beyond comprehension.

I’ve always been curious about the science of particle counting. How do we actually detect how much PM2.5 we have in a meter cubed?

I’ve been a few times via the subway, but I drove past it in a taxi for the first time last week and it just seemed to be in my field of vision forever. I think it’s actually more impressive from the outside, though I have heard good things about the water park.

There has been twice as much of the mall open the last few times I’ve been, and yes it was a little generic. They also have these big curtains on the lower ground floor which seem to cut the whole thing in half and confuse shoppers. They also have a high ropes course that I’ve never seen anyone one.

The only thing I’ve seen is a silversmith up at Kuanxiangzi. Though the guy was really young, he was making a simple bracelet outside a jewellers. The whole thing drew a crowd and it was cool to watch.
