    Hi,

    I am planning on going to Ya’an on Monday to help out. Anyone else keen on going? Would you like to travel down together? Yet to call Mr.Linggu and confirm things.

    well i was thinking of taking the train on Thursday night arriving on Friday and then flying back on Tuesday.

    What is the name of the place Tracy in pinyin? I only recognize “mountain”

    Hi, I’m interested, I also have 4 days off the 22nd-25th Dec, was hoping to go out west or to Yunnan to a tibetan village. Does anyone have any recommendations? Or also looking for a meditation retreat. Thanks in advance for any info.

    There’s a large bookstore on Wu Hua Ci Street, they carry classic lit. didn’t see any bestsellers. You can check Sim’s guest house, last time I was there I saw a selection of books in various languages. (just an option)

    Hi,

    I’ll be interested in joining, I am seeking to find a good deal on a camera. Any one knows of a reasonable shop. Not looking for a professional camera yet, and not a point and shoot, something in between. Went to the computer centre the other day, but also was told that taobao was a good bet. Would like recommendations on a camera, so I know what to look for.

    @Rick in China, I read in one of your post over a year ago, that you sent money using the Bank of Agriculture in Chengdu. Which branch did you go to? Since then have things changed?

    go to this website (see below), scroll down and you will find a simple map that will guide you from Xuaxiba stn to Xinnanmen Bus Station, as for the time, I’m not sure, I’m around the area in Chengdu today, I will try to find out and text you.
