I ended up finding the place in time for a valentines day dinner. It’s in yulin on fang Cao dongjie #82, behind 欧洲房子。The place is basically the reincarnation of Peter Pan which closed apparently. The boss told us the new Peter Pan is a ripoff not run by the former owner. The food was alright with a lot of selection. I wasn’t familiar with Peter Pan before so I can’t compare it to that, better than Pizza Mandolino IMHO. Nice ambience though. The phone number is 15882108017

I get the sense that Grace will be sending food in unaccompanied luggage with a relocation/moving company I assume. If that is the case, then yes, you are better off not packing food in those unaccompanied items. Bring them in you accompanied luggage when you travel if you must. Your unaccompanied luggage must be declared to customs and food items could cause delays, sometimes lengthy ones.

@Iona – I did finally find a physical therapist in Chengdu. Her name is Emma Zhou and she received her MA from Hong Kong polytechnic univ.
I have already done 2 sessions with her and she seems capable, but since I’ve never had the need for physio before, I have nothing to compare her to.
