Kim, like this parcel, the previous one was sent to my school so they will let me know if anything arrives. Thanks for the advice though. A wee bit reassuring to know that you only just received parcels sent in December.

Well, I’ve certainly had a few laughs..

The aforementioned night out took place on Saturday. We ventured to Hooters, Underground and Muse.

I enjoyed Hooters, although, just as Rick discussed, I think this had more to do with the company than the venue itself, and the food was just ‘okay’. Totally agree with the comments on the ‘dead eyed dancers’ though. Huge lol to the ‘Donna Summers with gun to head’ comment.

I think Underground is a great wee pub with a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I have been there twice now and had great nights on both occasions.

Muse however, was by far, the highlight of my night. I thought it was excellent! I had a fantastic night there, and would definitely go back. This was the first Chinese club I had been to really, so having enjoyed it as much, I would like to visit a few more.

Like Lisa, I also enjoy dancing to cheesy music when I’m out, so I have always found Jellyfish to be alright. Having said that, it is very crowded, which can get annoying.

Would definitely be up for visiting your friend’s club some time in the near future, Jazz, so will give you a shout.

I was also a little surprised to hear that some of the girls are paid to be there, although I’m sure I have heard this before.

Just wondered if there was any update on this topic. Any new clubs opened lately that are worth checking out? Or reviews of old ones?

Having a night out soon and am thinking of trying Muse, Club 88 or Hooters, but thought I’d check in to see if anyone has any other suggestions..

Okay, so I have been set the task of finding sparklers, fireworks etc (hope I don’t have to set the fecking things off), and also a barbeque… and I haven’t a bloody clue where to start. Think Iona is going to point me in the right direction, but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I’ll be out and about on Saturday so will see what I can find. Will also try to bring some food and drink along.

Have asked around and a few of us might be up for doing something. Could try to find a few fireworks or sparklers, start a bonfire maybe and get some marshmallows – maybe getting a bit adventurous with the bonfire. Could even hire Justin to do a bit of fire dancing 😉

Never been that keen on Halloween but have always been a fan of Guy Fawkes Night! Will post details of any plans anyway if people are interested.

I had a really good night and actually liked that there was a sort of, separate party going on outside.

There could have been more people dancing yes, but with a place that size, it would have taken a lot of people to make it look ‘busy’. I thought there was a really chilled out, do what you like kind of vibe and I would go there again.

Also, have to say Justin, thought your fire dancing was amazing! I genuinely would have paid to see that.
